We created this national public information campaign with the US Forest Service about a politically sensitive subject – thinning the forests to reduce catastrophic wildfires. It resulted in people seeing the depth of the issue through balanced coverage by journalists.

The purpose of the campaign was to interest people to learn more about forest management objectives and practices as scientific approaches to protecting a natural resource.  It also helped forest service staff to express their core values articulately.
